OEM Gateway Access

Some newer models (2020+) from brands like VW, Renault, and FCA Group include security gateways that block access to functions such as EPB reset or injector coding.
The MX808S gives you the option to unlock these functions per brand, directly through the tablet, with an activation fee based on either a per-use token or an annual license, depending on the OEM
Many scanners don’t offer this capability at all — leaving you locked out of key functions.
Importantly, most service functions and vehicles still work without any activation, especially on models before 2020 or where gateway restrictions do not apply.
